I think I have made it clear ever so many times on this site (so much that it pisses people off) that I believe that the true kings of metal are METALLICA BABY! They are some of most talented musicians on Earth, and everyone of their songs is a work of art. Damn, they're good!

To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

Best Metal band hands down for the 70's was Black Sabbath (Zeppelin was the fathers of hard rock but not metal)Metal for the 80's and early 90's was MetallicA (you can't get much better than four horsemen or Fight Fire with Fire) for now-a-days it would either be Pantera or Fear Factory (none of those cookie cutter so called "metal" bands)
