Hehe, and here I thought my grandpa has a serious gas problem :D
Actually, I bought it and told the person I would check it out at a pals place and if he found any problems i would give it back, i told her i would call in around an hour.
Once i got it home heres what i found:
(note: I dont have a amp so couldnt plug it in so couldnt check out the pups)
1. Its a heavy guitar, no idea what wood but it sounds pretty decent unplugged, I'm pretty much a newbie compared with you guys but i have been trying out most of the expensive guitars at the shops(Fender, Squire,Gibson,Epiphone to name a few)
2.The pickup selecter was a bit screwed, it was jumping in its holding, I guess the screws came undone inside and it did not change smoothly.
3.They told me they changed one of the pickups when they bought it, a few years ago.
4. The action was really bad on this one and i didnt find any real way to adjust it
5.The fretboard's frets (the brass/gold pieces that seperate one fret from another, forgot what they are called) were pretty lumpy, felt more like you were playing a cheap acustic
6. The tone and volume knops- some turned easy some were really badly "glue jammed" especially when you go to the total right or left
I think i'll spend a bit more and get myself something that i like and feels more like an electric...the reason I have improved in my playing is i just like the look of my acoustic, as i see it standing in the corner i have to pick it up and practice...even if its just for a few mins, this guitar didnt do it for me.
Cheers!
