I'm talking about [U]rock or metal[/U]. 9 out of 10 country songs are written by someone other than the performer, etc.....

I'm bringing this up b/c I just found out that the singer that was in my first band 12 or 13 years ago is now writing songs for Saliva. I never have been a fan of Saliva, but I lost a lot of respect for them when I found out they don't write their own songs....Not bashing my old buddy, I think it's cool he's working with a popular band.

Any other well known bands out there that doesn't write their own songs?
