For me, it's all about attitude. Sometimes I might stay up till 2am playin and other times I might only play for 5 minutes in a day. I make sure a play every day though. I also have to be in the right mood/mindset, whatever you want to call it, to learn anything. Sometimes I can look at a tab for an hour and feel frustrated and then, outta nowhere, the next day I will see a different shape or hand position which helps me out alot, then I progress. I've only been playing for a year and I'm alright when it comes to rythym but my soloing needs work.
