I don't get how guys come up with these awesomely kewl logos using the same software.

As someone who makes his living as a graphic designer I'd guess some of these guys get really 'kewl' logos by paying for them. sorry if that's not the answer you guys are after but it's an undeniable truth.

PS - you could have paid for a professional logo with the price you paid for Photoshop - you did pay for it, right?

Funny guys the lot of you :D

All i'm saying is you get what you pay for - You want a decent logo go to someone who knows how to design them. Would you take guitar lessons off a cello player? :)

Do you have any idea how much time I spend fixing "professionally" designed logos, letterheads, business cards, envelopes, etc?

WOW! I just calculated how much we should have charged a customer for my drawing time. $2250 dollars! Not that the sales lady had any idea it would take roughly 30 total hours to do this jack asses drawings . Some customers you can never satisfy, but I think some customers get satisfaction from giving me a hard time

I don't even want to dare to guess how much of my typesetting time my old boss pissed away because he fancied the [female] customers' "attributes."
