I got one a while back. I definitely need some lace sensors, because the pickups it came with are really dull. I set the action a bit lower. It was a little too high for my tastes.

But I was wondering about the buzzing. Is there anything you can do with the plastic part where the strings over at the top of the neck? It almost seems like they shift around in there a little bit or under those metal things that look the pullies that hold the strings down on the headstock. (Not really sure what those are for.)

And anyone know what MIM is?

Thanks.

I have one and its OK, you need to keep the action a bit high otherwise as you found out it gives you a buzz.

I got it for the humbucker at the bridge the slandered strat always sounds a little thin with single coil pickup

I have one and its freakin awesome! not just ok. but great. Those metal things on the headstock are string trees, and I doubt that their the rattling problem. Its the bridge saddles. By the way, a MIM is Made In Mexico. Which highway 1's are not.

but other than raising the action, there isn't anything else I can do about the buzzing? Does it matter too if you don't use the fender strings that have sort of those plugs on the bottom versus other strings with the ring at the bottom?
