After I while I also decided to introduce myself here :)

First of all I have to say that my english may not be the best, so if I make any mistakes please sorry ^^''
I try to write in my best possible english.

So my Name is David, I'm nearly seventeen years old and from Austria (NOT Australia ;) )

I play the guitar since one year and a few moths, first my father told me to play the acoustic but after a while I bought a electric one.
This first guitar was a Samick (I was not able to find out anything about this label or about what guitar exactly mine is, but I think Samick are building Pianos...)
Today I play a 7 string Ibanez RG

I am also a Member of a Band called "Slike" we are all not the most skilled players but we are getting better and better ^___^

I found this page while I googled throught the net, and there where a lot of usefull hints, and hopefully some of you may help me if I get some problems or questions^^

Well - its a common word in german but its actually Latin. The slaves in ancient rome used to greet their master like that signifying to be his "servant" (servus).
We still use this term but it merely means "hello" to us :)

Welcome David! I'm from Texas myself, we don't got no culture 'round these parts. HAHA. Enjoy this place, it's the best guitar site you'll find. There's some good folks hangin 'round here.
