To run an effects pedal to your amp, you'll need two guitar cables: one to go from the output of the pedal to the amplifier and another to go from the input of the pedal to the guitar.

[AMP] <--- [EFFECTS UNIT] <---- [GUITAR]

It gets more complicated when you start using mulitple units (since you want to get the most usage out of each unit and still get the best sound possible), but that's should help you get started. Pretty much, the place where you would normally plug your guitar in is where you plug the effects unit into (on the amp). All that you're doing here is creating a chain from the amp to the guitar. Hope that helps ya.

If you have any questions, feel free to send me an e-mail (using the webform in my instruction section).
