no need for a higher end guitar when you've got... a GIBSON faded sg special!!! I love mine to death. you might want to change out the bridge pickup though, it's very bass-y.
but all in all, I love mine, it's a great guitar, just as good as the high end gibsons! just without all the features you don't need anyway (it has dot inlays rather then trapezoids, and no pickup covers, and the paint is done in a very cost effective way, making it look even better in my opinion) therefore, I recommend a faded sg, if you heard a sound clip of one right next to a sound clip of a higher end gibson, you probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference!
