I'm considering buying a new guitar in the next year, so im starting to do a little research. Im looking into the gibson sg faded, or a lower end strat say probably under 700. I currently play a squier so im used to stratocasters. What guitar would you all recommend for this price range and style. I can upgrade pickups and other electronics. I just need to kno all my options so i can make the right choice. Also what have you all's experiences been with ebay or second hand guitars. If i can convince my mom of it being a safe buy. It will really open my options ;)
