Ok Ive started playing scales and I have the major and minor down and Im working on moving positions around the fretboard. But now I am getting in to petanoic scales major and minor....but im am having diffuculty understanding whether the scale changes when it is moved to a different position like 3rd fret to 5th for instance...its stumping me and some assistance would be most appreciated

If your playing the scales and your root note is coming from 3rd position and you move to 5th, the key (or tonic) will change from a G to an A.

The pattern is completely moveable as the same relative intervals between each note is maintained.
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.
