It's a tough one to call but the forum is called "Listening Post" so .......
Perhaps not enough widdly bits for a guitar forum but hell, I feel like I'm amongst friends here :)
A dark tale of surburban alienation and the search for 2 for 1 offers at the Co-Op.
Comments of course are always appreciated ;)

I like it, good progressions but maybe the bass should be turned down a little.

With that accordion it reminds me of TMBG.

Thanks guys, some good comments. Strangely enough TMBG are one of my favourite bands but I wasn't aware of their influences on this one but I take your point :)
There wasn't supposed to be a guitar solo on the track. I just wanted a load of noise on the end which turned out to be a bit like a solo
Bass? Yeah, I'm afraid the mp3 conversion doesn't do it any favours. It was always supposed to be heavy but for some reason the mp3 is even louder than it is normally. You'd need to listen to the CD version to get the proper effect.
Thanks again.

Good stuff!
If you lower the bass in the mix, be sure to put a bit more edge on it so it doesn't turn into muddy growling in the background.

Thanks Eric. In fact more than thanks, that's a great compliment! I've got a whole CD of them but no way of selling them at the moment but maybe you might want to try another one for the time being.
Not me singing (thank God). My song, my guitars but not me on drums, bass or accordion or fiddle :)

I like this one MUCH better. Very catchy for the most part. Honestly, I think that's the most important part of songwriting. Having a great melody that people will remember, and **** the lyrics, haha. That's what makes "Feed My Frankenstein" more listenable to me than "Smells Like Teen Spirit."
