Finally my new "gotta have it" guitarist of the moment is Jake Cinniger from Umphrey's McGee . I went to a really liberal hippy school in Ohio and tried like hell to get into bands like Phish, the Dead, and Widespread Panic. I did to a certain degree, but these Jam Bands, as the genre is known as, always left me wanting a little bit more. Umphrey's McGee has filled that void for me and it's because of Jake's incendiary lead work. Jake bridges the gap between Jam Band and Virtuoso.
