What brand and model?
Hi there guys, new member here, planning to buy a new acoustic guitar. Just a quick questions to you guys, what brand and model would you suggest? By the way, I'm from the Philippines.

ok, some more information would be helpful, what is yor budget? how long have you been playing? what style of music do you play? does it need to be acoustic-electric? do you like apple pie?

No, I'd prefer a acoustic only, not a electro acoustic.
Type of music I play? Well mostly slow-rocks and I'm kinda interested in blue-style of lead, but basically I'm rythm.
I also plan on having a folk style guitar, like the one Slash uses in the video clip of patience (anyone saw that or pay attention to that? :) )
For budget, well like I've said earlier, I'm from the philippines so my budget is around 5,000 pesos and that would be like $100.
Some of the choices that came to my mind was either buying a Yamaha (7,000) Washburn (6000) Gibson (not so sure bout this one, but a friend told me it cost only 3-4000) or Ibanez, which I think would be cheaper since it's a local model.
