I've been playing for 6 years, but i dont know the basics

So i've just been looking up tabs and learning them for six years now. And not continously, it's kinda just been a slight hobby. Buy for a long time i've really wanted to get into guitar much more seriously. I don't know very many of the basic chords, i dont know the first thing about theory, honestly i couldnt even tell you which string is which, yet i am easily an intermediate player, if not a hop or a skip from the next level. So whats the best way for me to fill in the missing parts?

also, i remember probably about a year back i was on this site and i remember seeing a thread about an educational game on theory thats free to download called something like Guitar Warrior. Does anyone know what i'm talking about or where i can download it?

You're thinking of Fretboard Warrior. It's a little game to memorize the names of the notes on the fretboard. Very Useful!
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

Glad you liked the program. How many of us have been playing for years and still only know the notes on the E string? :D

I know all the names on both e strings hahahahaha.
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song. :rolleyes:
