Is there any way of reducing the string action on my bc rich platinum pro warlock? it has a floyd rose (which Im not particularly familiar with cos its a new guitar) and the string action's really high so its not as good for shredding as my old axe. The plate on the floyd rose is level with the body so i think the spring tension's right. Help!

Folyd Rose action adjustments are never fun.... 1. because they're Floyds... 2. Because sometimes the customer may never get what they want.... Floyd Roses are designed to rock back and forth and if the action is too low the strings will bottom out on the fret board when it is rocked slightly backward... defeating the purpose of even having a Floyd Rose... If you're hell bent on low action I would first suggest a guitar without a Floyd Rose.... since that is asking too much I would suggest taking it in to a shop and talking to a tech who might be able to work with you and come up with a compromise...
