Read a complaint, (someone squawking about the fees) that I needed to comment on while introducing myself….

I'm brand new to the site, I am a 57 year old Fender Jag player from the sixties. I played professionally (Rock band introducing Fats Domino in Wildwood, NJ.) way back in ancient times when "Up on the Roof" was number one. I am currently trying to resurrect myself to join a local orchestra. Until you’re an old relic you can relate to my agony…..it’s one of those “I was Great 20 years ago but…..”

I have been reading and using the wealth of info on this site…….someone somewhere spends much time maintaining this. I guess it must be the “Jon” you refer to. My two cents is the fee is fully warranted …..I do agree a lifetime option should be arranged, I hate those monthly things, but if I were you guys I would squawk too much , it’s a great site…… I plan on participating a lot here some you’ll see me again……lucky you!

Thanks Jon and whoever else does this site(whoever you are) ;) http://www.guitartricks.com/forum/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=10#

Welcome! Jon is the great one who answers question we don't know and runs this site at the same time. Don't forget about the high bandwith forum to request stuff. Hope you regain your skills.

Welcome to the site. It's always nice to have a new face around here.

Welcome, old son! I'm 52 (for a few more weeks), and I traded my Jaguar for a Gibson SG back in '72 (?). There are a few old-timers here, but most of the members are youg pups with skills we could only dream of back in the day. You'll find a wealth of material in the lessons section, and this forum is a lot of fun, as well as providing info from all over the world. Enjoy!
