hahah thats about it. eather get it used, or get a gibson copy.

gibson is the ipod of the guitar world. nothings cheap.

good luck dude... if you do find anything, let me know where! lol. but I got my gibson sg special faded for $650, I doubt you could find a cheaper gibson then that, apart from a used one (and from what I've heard, the high end gibsons are only very slightly better then the low end ones, so probably not any better either)

what i'd do, if you want a gibson sound for cheap, get a cheaper gibson copy, and put some gibson pickups in it (since pickups contribute to alot of the tone) you could do that for under $400 if you tried, even cheaper if you got a really cheap gibson copy, such as the ones at www.rondomusic.net
