Perhaps not the most popular thing among guitar players (I dunno), but it's football season now! Season opening game tonight! I for one am pumped, not only for NFL, but my dad is also a high school football coach, and it's fun to go to his home games on Fridays.

Soccer is far superior to American football.

When your a Cleveland Browns fan like me you become very jaded very fast after decades of disappointment. I'm more excited about College Football.

GO BUCKEYES!

I agree with PRS and LEE. I would rather watch college or even high school football than NFL. NFL is overrated if you ask me.

This weekend is my football wet dream! First, LSU comes here to ASU on saturday (was supposed to be played in LSU but was moved to Tempe because of Katrina. and btw ASU plans to raise over 1 million dollars from donations at the game). Then sunday night, the Ravens open against the Colts on ESPN! Not to mention the Texas-OSU tomorrow.

I'm not a fan of any sport. I'm just strange like that I guess. but I really could care less about football, or any sport for that matter. however, I would like to add that if I do have to watch football, I would much rather watch college football rather then NFL.

Lee...the Browns? Really? I've lived in Pittsburgh for most of my life and as far as I'm concerned there are only two teams in the NFL. The Pittsburgh Steelers and then the rest of them....

But then again, we haven't won a Superbowl in like twenty some years. Guess I can't say much huh? I mean, even after a 15-1 season and we still can't get to the dance. Ugh.

Yup. I lived in a weird no-man's-land roughly equidistant from Cleveland and Pittsburgh. The rivalry's went deep ;). But ever since Modell moved the Browns to Baltimore, I stopped caring about the Steelers rivalry and just hoped we could beat the Baltimore Browns(*cough cough* I mean Ravens). Has anyone killed Modell yet?

Dont be sour about the Browns moving to Baltimore. They sucked before he moved them and the new Browns still stink! Baltimore needed a team after the Colts moved to indianapolis. Now everyone has a team ;) ! some better than others... :D

I differ from Lee, PRS and Bigbuda and would much rather take a quick kick below the belt than watch any sports related thing.

Interestingly enough, most fans here truly loathe the Ravens. Of course we still hate the Browns but that's more out of tradition. I was at the last game that Modell's Borwns played here in Pittsburgh and after the game, I swear I saw crying Steeler fans huggins crying Browns fans.

Yeah. Football fans are wacky people. But man, I love the game! High school, college, the pro's...you can't beat it!

But I can appreciate the fact that it's not for everyone. Apparently there are some who like taking shots below the belt for sport... :D
