Yeah, digital offers the most versatility, but you will alway's get the digital sound......

A Les Paul with split coil pups and a Marshall tube amp to me is the most versatile....Most people think Marshall's are not very versatile, but I disagree with that....A Marshall can be tricky to tweak and get the sound that your looking for. I can get anywhere from a bluesy sound to a deathmetal sound with my JCM 800 and Gibson SG or my Ernie Ball EVH...
