Computers don't just delete things by themselves. You'll have to be more specific about what happened.

i turned it off last night after listening to acdc , then turned it on this mornin n it was all gone

No...I believe they do delete stuff by themselves sometimes. What!? It's not like it's human error.

hm... maybe you deleted a folder that your music was in and didn't realize it... or maybe you deleted a program that the files were linked to and didn't realize it. If your computer deleted your music files by itself... then... well... you might want to get that checked out... maybe my computer is well behaved, but it's never deleted anything that I didn't tell it to delete.

PS, I have uninstalled and deleted a version of Kazaa from my computer before... and with it went 1500+ songs... but I take the blame, I won't brush it off on my computer. haha

Barring hardware failure, your files are either still there or got deleted accidentally.
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

i just found out my brotha was being "kind" n put it all onto a couple of dvds without telling me

well, it'll take up a lot less computer space that way! but, much harder to navigate through them... but at least you still have them.

My teachers always complain about my botebook everytime they come around to check homework. I just use 2 mead comp books for every subject and just stash papers in there. I'll ask them to tell me to find a paper, after about a min of sifiting i'll find it every time, while others don't have it cause they're not organized.

I once discovered that my computer literally deleted/ruined several mp3s and jpgs of mine out of no where. I later learned that I had a virus that was crafted for the sole purpose of deleting those particular files.
