monthly jam in the jp forum!!

Hey guys and gals, ima member at the John petrucci forum ( I use the same name) and they have this monthly jam where they post a backing track and we the members do a solo over it and email it back and then they post up our solos to Corey Smiths site.. there are 3 levels - beginners, intermediate and advanced.. the members then give u feedback in the forum its very very cool :cool: anywho the solos are posted on Corey Smiths web site( that guy is one hell of a guitar player) monthly jam so check out my entry please.. go to the site and on the right hand side u will see- JP forum monthly jam im in the intermediate section (silentmusic).. :D (by the way I came up with that solo in 2 hours) :cool:

Cool! I'm off to sign up and download that backing track, excellent quality. Just checked out your solo, nice playing, the only thing I would change would be the level of delay in the first few bars, other than that well done.

thanx CW :D yea i got chought in the moment when recording and sent it in I should have took off the delay a bit and redid it but hey its cool lol:) and cool that u are thinking of giving it a shot :cool:

That was great! Guess I'm gonna have to agree about the delay too... just a tad to strong. Other than that, it sounds sweet!

Thanx for the feedback:) yea the delay takes over the solo somewhat.. so i agree with that too :)
