That's what my reaction was. As I mentioned earlier, that photo was the first I had even heard of this hurricane.
You mean to tell me there's nothing scientists can do to interfere with a storm? Like a bomb or something? Or that's just asteroid-on-cillision-course-with-planet-earth-laser-gun-blast-out-of-orbit science fiction?
There's nothing anyone can do about storms like this. There's nothing we can do about anything big coming from space, either. If a big rock comes flying at us we won't see it in time to do anything and even if we did there's nothing we could do about it.
