i can hit notes... but my voice just isn't one that i'm fond of... the sound of it doesn't fit most songs and it's just annoying... haha. but like someone else said... it's good to know your boundaries and SRV and Jimi weren't too excited about singing either... in fact, I read somewhere that Jimi was auditioning singers so he could concentrate on the instrumental portions of his music... and same goes for Metallica... Hettfield never intended on being the singer... but it just ended up that way. Just do what you can. If you practice at it though I'm sure you can increase your range...
