[font=trebuchet ms]I recall being in a band where the bass player was the leader. It was his house we practiced in. It was his car & trailer that got our gear to the gigs. And he owned the PA system too. Guess who did the singing? The fact that he couldn't carry a tune if you put it in a basket for him didn't matter. It was his band. We found that if we all played real loud, nobody noticed much. Especially after the second set, when the audience is usually pretty drunk anyway.

So don't get in a big sweat about it. Do what you can with what you've got. Bruce Springsteen has a range of about a note-and-a-half, but there's probably hundreds of people who will swear up and down that he's a wonderful singer.[/font] :D
