help... please?

ok I've looked everywhere and I've found much of the info I need, but I'm still missing a lot. I feel like I could ramble on for days about the theory about tube circuits (and I just about did, to my friend, today), but I have no idea how it's applied. I can't figure out how to link two tubes (to add gain stages) and where, exactly, I should ground. I also can't figure out where to connect the power supply. :( A little help, please?

Ahh! I figured most of it out! I think I only have two questions now. The first is a simple yes or no answer, too! Do I need to connect to the power supply at every gain stage? And the second... I want to send the signal through a tube, then to the gain control, then through the gain stages. Do I use a resistor here, before the tube? And if so, how do I figure out what resistance to use? Pretty simple, eh? The rest, I have figured out. Thanks in advance.
