i need help with the blues

i know blues is a feel and cannot be taught but for some reason i cant seem to get a song down and i want to start with the roots of blues like with robert johnson so if anyone has any pointers advice theory or songs that they suggest to et me started it would much appreciate. peace

You can learn your blues scales and the 12 barre blues.

I'd start with the "sad" kinda blues cuz it's slower than the "boogie" kind. Can't go wrong with something like B.B. King's "Thrill is Gone", or Zep's "Since I've Been Lovin You".

Yep, pentatonics and blues scale for sure, spice it up a bit with slight bends and vibrato - it's in the wrist action.
