Dammit.... I've got poison ivy... and it's spreading. I'm incredibly recessive to the **** and I've had to go to the doctor before because of it. I just hope I don't have to this time.

Whatever you do, don't eat limes. A friend of mine ate a lime once and BAM!! Two years later. Herpes.

I seem to be immune to poison ivy. I've waded through the stuff before in shorts without ever itching.

I used to be extremely allergic to the stuff, and anything like it. I got into some poison sumack(sp?) once, and had to go to the doctor twice to get some kind of shot to help knock it out. I've only had one very small patch of it since then. My sympathy goes out to!

I used to get it really bad as a kid. But that was before nintendo was invented and I'd always be playing out in the woods. I don't know if I've developed an immunity to it, or maybe it's just that I haven't come in contact with it since.

I do however have mosquito bites all over my ankles on both sides, and damn if they don't itch like mad!

I still spent pretty much my entire childhood playing in the woods because the folks got rid of the tv when I was 6.

Put some of the camomeil (spelling?) lotion on it if you haven't already.

I got a bug bite on the second knuckle of my third finger on my fretting hand... it itches so bad, and that's seriously gotta be one of the worst places to get a bug bite, becasue it's pretty hard to itch it...

I got my first nintendo (SNES actually) when I was like 5... my brother was less then 1... and he used to watch me play when he was a baby, and then he started playing when he got a little older, and he still plays today hours everyday (he's 10) and, well, let's just say that t.v. and video games really DO rot your brain...

Well, I didn't read the whole thread. But I need a fact check. Is it true if you eat poison ivy you'll be immune to it? Someone told me that, and I was liek well... I'm not allergic... but thats pretty hardcore.

As hardcore as that is, I don't think it works that way.

ok, I want you to know that if I try that, and in turn become very ill/die from it, then I/my family will sue you for every penny you've got. now that we've got that out of the way... where's some posion ivy? I need to do a "science experiment"

Maybe if I stated it as fact... but nothing I say counts as a fact. Because I'm female, and i'm inferior. Wait... damn... i'm too lazy to backspace.

For the spelling checkers it's Sumac and Calamine.

Regardint the era before Nintendo was created... I know of no such era.

As far as eating poison ivy goes, well, that's just dumb. The ivy will just infest you from the inside.
