Tapping

Does anyone know any good songs that involve tapping that are fairly simple. I just taught myself to tap a little while ago and i just cant get any Van Halen stuff down and im getting bored with the things i do know how to play.

Well, there is a nice simple tapping riff at the end of Deadbolt by Thrice.

Metallica... the solo from One... it can be tough for a beginner but it's a great solo. stick with it...

I've recommended this song a ton of times because I use it as a warm up when I play... Midnight by Joe Satriani. It's really laid back and easy... it's not balls to the walls tapping like Van Halen or Hammett.... it's what I can piano tapping. You use two hands and play the guitar the way you would a piano. One does the bass and one does the treble parts... it's not hard just listen to the song... better yet get the G3 live in Denver DVD and watch Satriani do it... then it will be easier.

I don't tap a lot so I don't know a ton of songs that have tapping in them. I mostly improvise solos anymore anyways.. Good luck with it and keep challenging yourself

thanks for all the songs and thanks especially for that reference to the tapping tutorial ive learned a load of **** from that thing.

Eruption has a fairly simple tapping lick at the end. So does the solo to Jump.
