Dan Erlewine is the man when it comes to guitar repair, set-up, and building! Any book by him is a great addition to your book collection and will teach you a lot. I personally have the Guitar Players Repair Guide by him and I find myself using it over and over again even though I've read it cover to cover 3 or 4 times. You can also check out his DVD's and articles that he's written for www.stew-mac.com He use to own and operate the Guitar Hospital just up the road from me in Michigan (4 hours away).
