i am looking for a good one in this price range ...our band plays hard rock/metal...thinking about dimarzio dp159 evolution, i want clarity not muddy..i will go higher in price but would rather not, really want to stay under $100

I really like my Duncan JB in my Schecter. Very versatile and pulls off the hard rock / metal things wonderfully.

pretty much any pickup you want is going to be under or around 100 dollars... If you want clarity go with a pickup with a ceramic magnet... they get great bell tones as well great clear distortion tones. The Seymour Duncan Dimebucker may be something to look into.

yea mostly all pickups are under 100 bucks, unless you are planning to buy custom pickups or very high end fender pups

though for under 70, try DiMarzio's
