i just picked up a blue voodoo 120 watt head and am now in search of a cabinet.
i play in a metal/hardcore band and want alot of tight low end. i thought about the randall RS125CX cab but im not sure it can handle the voodoo head plus i heard some bad quality reviews on it.
does anyone else have any suggestions? keep in mind i dont want to spend an arm and a leg.

I use a Marshall 1960a 4x12 cab with a PV Triple XXX 120watt head, and it does great! The stock speakers in it (Celestion G12T-75) are suited fairly well for heavier styles of music. Only downfall is the price tag. You might also want to look into a cab from AvatarSpeakers. They build great quality cabs at reasonable prices, and you can pick whatever speakers you want to use.

Expect to spend anywhere from $400-700 on a decent 4x12 cab though, new or used.

i got the crate gt412 with celestion 70/80's...it works very well with my bv120
it was $450.00 though...check out www.craigslist.com in your local area you might find a good used cab that you can go see and pick up rather than paying and hoping they deliver.
