No, I think Polera hit it on the head. I bought an Ibanez GIO or G10, whatever...it was around $200, and it really sucked. I tried setting it up and the action was just horrible. I thought I could tweak it to be like the higher end models. WRONG-O!! If you have more money, go with something a little higher. "You get what you pay for" really applies when it comes to guitars. You really won't regret it. It's kinda scary dropping alot of money for a guitar the first time you do it. I know when I got my Epi Les Paul it was $500, and I walked out in a daze just thinking how quickly I gave up 500 bucks. But that thing's my #1 now, my little baby....and I'm not the least bit sorry now.
