Hello, i recieved my first electric guitar in mid May of this year, since then i have been playing every once in a while, since i have no teacher. My uncle plays and he said he would help me but he isent around enough to get me to where i want to be. I am trying to teach myself and so far it's going pretty well, i have the strumming and everything else down good but it's the moving of one chord to another i am having great duifficulty with. i Can play any chord and move down the frets well, but switching to another chord is hard for me. i would like to find some exercizes or easy easy songs that i can practice with. i really want to play and this is something that i truely have an intrest in. If anyone has any suggestions or knows of anything that could help me with this i would really appreciate it, thank you

Try These chords: G major - E minor - C major - D major

And/or D major - B minor - G major - A major

And/or C major - A minor - F major - G major

They are the same chord pattern in three different Keys

F major is one the most difficult chord shapes to master - it took me an hour a day for three months

Stick at it, you seem to be doing exceptionaly well
if you always take the lazy route
