Pod Xt Live

need some advice getting the gd sound on pod xt live that i just bought recently... i got this problem is that i always cun get that sound that i want from my gutar... ...thks...

what type of sound are you trying to get? What style music are you playing? How are you using the XT, plugged into a computer, plugged into the front of an amp, plugged into the fx return of an amp, or plugged into a pa? Answere these questions and I, and possible some other member's can help you out, but we need to know these things first.

I always plug directly into the guitar amp, actually i prefer to have a clean distortion, but it always sound dirty...i m not very gd in effects so it always cos the output of the sound to become very weird n hope to get some advise here...

i m actually playing rock music..i m currently using gibson nighthawk(landmark series) ...

i just want to get the sound like most people playing lead, so clean n clear...
when playing distortion as rhythm it wont sound dirty too...thks!
