i would recommend getting a lesson teacher, cuz believe me, they know EVERYTHING!! then try to learn from tabs and chords and eventually it will lead to many different styles of music (you can go from punk rocker to neo-classical shredder in a few months, or even weeks!!!) well these were my methods of becoming as accomplished as i am today
ive only been playin over 1 year now and i cant believe how far ive gotten
if you really get good at this instrument, it can be super fun
