Problems with chromatic runs

Hi,
Im having trouble with chromatic runs (as in 'flight of the bumblebee') owing to a slow moving little finger as compared to the other fingers. Anyone has any suggestions?

If your saying you pinkie isn't strong enough that you just have to keep practicing and build up its strength and speed, try these exercises:

-----------------1-2-3-4-------------------------
---------1-2-3-4---------------------------------
-1-2-3-4-----------------------------------------

then go down ex. 4321

then try some spread out trills like

you can also try trills with just the pinky and the 3rd finger up and down the fretboard!!. Do it till it burns, then take a break and do it again and again. Also isolate the problem in the flight of the bumblebee and do that slowly at first(with metronome if you have one)!!Gradually speed up!! Hope this helps!!!!

just don't overdo it, my hand got really swollen just below the pinky, when i tried to strengthen it.
