um, books work, dude. anything you find on the internet, someone probaby used resources from a book or their own experimentation. and what better way to get tips from than getting a book that was written by people who play guitar for a living. its just about getting the right book. it dissapoints me to hear you say that becasue thats kindof a bad outlook on it all, dude. let me put it this way. if you spent a hundred dollars on various books, it would benifit you 10 fold of anything else you could spend a hundred dollars on going towards guitar stuff. a new guitar or amp wont do much if you dont have the knowlege in your fingers and your brain.
