i don't think they'd look that bad if it wasn't for the 70's-color Mustang inlays that clash horribly with the chrome finish on the guitar and the utterly retarded Mustang badge. i don't think that it would necessarily sound bad, but, for $15k, you could buy an abominal tone monster that would blow the minds of all your guitarist friends, so... yeah.
it wasn't meant for real guitarists anyway. it was meant for collectors, many of whom only barely know how to play, and would never dream of using the thing to make music.
A guitar made without the intention of being used for music.... I feel a little bit more hollow now.
