Hi, I am a recording 'newbie', well actually I'm not I'm a recording nothing cause I've only just thought about recording my stuff properly.
I want some advise on which recording 'thing' I should get. I want one that is not gonna break the bank and I can mix the music (effects etc.) and record it onto CD either via built-in CDR-W or USB link to my PC.
Anybody who has any advise just put it down.
Thanks

well my advice is get a second hand Korg D1200 mk I.

They are great !!

They are a 12 track studio in a box with editing, mixing and mastering tools built in. All you need is a mic, some cabling and some speakers / headphones. There is even a dedicated input for recording guitar direct and built in amp / mic modeling !!
