Tip #3- Learn more scales and modes, as many as you possibly can.

Tip #5- Heart has more than one popular song, but I'm going to assume you mean "Barracuda."

Tip #6- Push your limits by learning songs slightly too hard for you to sightread, but not so hard that you won't be able to play them with practice.
