When I turn my distortion up all the way there is a really horrible buzz.
I presume everyone has this problem cause of the dist. but is there any way to solve it other than a noise gate?

is this with single coil pickups? or humbuckers? if it's single coils, then you could get some noiseless pickups. but, I would try playing with the volume and tone knobs on your guitar, see if they alter the buzz any

well, if you have single coils you might want a noise gate anyways but mabie start off at a low gain and ease it up.

A have humbuckers and my amp is not near other electrical things.

I can't switch my dist down becuase it's great. I'm gonna get a Digitech RP80 anyways cause it got a noise gate in.

is the distortion built in on the amp or is it a pedal. if its and amp get a noise gate or dont turn it all the way up. if its a pedal get it modded.
I am Comfortably Numb... :D
