help with pull offs

hi im havin a few problem with pull offs cos when i try n do them they sound pethetic does any1 know a good practice or can give me some advise to make it sound betta

pull downward and away from the fretborad, and use a little force if you have to, atleast that works for me.

You slighty pull downward as stated. Enough to ring string, but not enough to sound the string below.

Also if you find that they still arent soundign long neough or clear enough it wouldtn be a bad idea to try and strengthen your fingers, will make hem alot easier to do!!!!

Start with the 1st and 3rd finger, choose a string and hammer-on and pull-off starting from the first fret all the way to the 12th fret! Try to do all six strings!! Once it starts burning Stop!!! Rest for awhile and try again!!!!!Then try a different combination of fingering(1st and 2nd; 1st and 4th; 2nd and 3rd; 2nd and 4th etc.) Shoot for a clean and articulate sound!Start slow and gradually increase speed as your fingers get stronger!!!! I once had problems with pull-offs as well. Think of it as not "pulling off" persay, but actually "plucking off". Try to pull off and pluck the string in the process and you should get much better results.
