Hi. Im new to the forum. Would like to ask if some one could help me out. I know my chords some what but im haven strumming diffrent patterns. Any advice? Also I want to play Ballad of Spider John by Jimmy Buffett, I just can get it. Can someone help me out. Mabe help me out buy sending me the pattern. Sorry for all the questions.

I used to be Ok strumming downstroke,but awkward on the upstrokes. What i used to do and occasionally still do, is deaden all the strings with my left hand and strum different rhythms with my right ( pick ), this will help to get the angle of the pick correct when strumming up and down.
