you try to make things so easy for the world
but you just create more pain and turmoil
sure things are faster and easier
but you’ve made everybody much lazier
no common sense in people today
when they mess up, you will pay
and when the androids take control

our lives are so great so very easy
everything is much faster and we are lazy
technology you are so great
but I sure hate it when my computer breaks
drive through this and driver through that
and don’t you worry if you get fat
you can sue the world for what it’s worth
than take a shuttle ride around the earth
you don’t need to leave your car just drive through
the bank to get food and your drugs if you want to
or do it at home on the internet
don’t get your identity stolen and you’ll be set
everyone has a cell phone now
doesn’t matter guy or girl or if your twelve
so many phone calls lost or dropped
its like a [dramatic pause] stopped

cameras all around us watching what we do
at the street intersections watching when we move
they listen when we talk on the phone
why can’t the government just leave us alone
its legal now cause of the patriot act
to take away our freedom I think its wack
when will people stand up and fight
for their freedoms back cause this ain’t right
