Which pick to choose

Ok...How do you determine what kind of pick you need. I'm using a Medium right now. But i'm not sure what kind that I really need.

Generally, whatever feels best to you.

I like thicker picks as I do a lot of lead playing, and palm muting power chords.

Thinner picks are good for strumming. I use 1.0mm Fenders. I get a good attack out of the thicker ones, and they just feel better to me.
Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.

Change picks depending on what you're playing.
For instance, get some small hard ones, medium nylons and large thin things and change between all three. For fast leads use a thick small pick, for power chords or strumming grab the dunlops, and on an acoustic, use the huge thin ones.
