Taylor guitars...... just to let you know
Yeah... my best friend bought a Taylor 614CE a couple days ago... and I've played it quite a bit the last few days in the studio.... and just to let you know... they are worth every penny that you pay for them. The only bad thing is it's hard to find a guitar to play along with him now becuase it makes all the acoustics that we have sound like sh!t... and I have some pretty nice ones... namely an Ovation 12-string Balladeer, Takamine, Washburn Cumberland, and Fender DG-45... and it makes all of them sound terrible. So if anyone out there was wanting to buy one... do it.

I just got myself a Takamine ef341sc.
I have tried several Martins (including 16, 15 and DM series), Guild D-55 and F47ce, Breedlove AC-25plus, Taylor 210, Taylor 314ce and Taylor 310 (with pick-up installed), and another Takamine with solid rosewood body (ef341DLX).
Rosewood Tak was great, but too bassy for my taste.
Taylor 310 and my Tak were very close, I stopped on Tak because it has a cut-away, a built-in tuner, and looks great (black gloss finish).
But I will never forget the sound of a $7000 Martin they had in the store ... I am on a different budget.
But I agree all Taylors that I've tried are worth every penny!
