K... uhm, I just started playing. well sort of... my guitar teacher last year had come to teach choir and sisn't know guitar.
I had bought a right-handed Dean(not many people have heard of it I guess) and tried learning that way from a sub we had but my fingers are too uncoordinated. My left-hand is much easier but I need help figuring out, well, everything. My guitar has been restrung and it buzzes a bit cause the knut is all messed up now, but other than that I just need to learn. Also I don't know where to start, like what chords... Any suggestions?
I was riding on my jetski in the ocean when the wheel fell off and I wondered, how many pancakes does it take to cover a dog house? Purple 'cause ice cream has no bones! :D

I think anyone that knows anything about guitars knows of Dean guitars... and let me get this straight... you restrung a right handed guitar so you can play it left handed? That's f'n awesome... haha Jimi-style... but yeah, your guitar is probably buzzing becuase of the nut like you said. If you too it to a guitar store where they do guitar repairs you could tell them what your problem is and they can install a new nut for you... they also will probably change the bridge for you too. But as for learning to play the guitar... I am completely self-taught and I just started learning how to read tabs off the internet.. I learned a bunch of songs that I liked and I tried to challenge myself by learning some songs that I didn't think i could ever learn... It just takes practice and hard work. It's frustrating and it can be a long learning process but I suggest just getting some books and stuff for beginners that can give you a decent grasp of theory and all the stuff that goes along with learning the guitar. Good Luck!

Yep I totally agree, a good guitar shop will re -set up the Bridge ( string lengths ) for a small fee - whereupon it should sound sweet ...Nice one
