Well, Slash used Gibson Les Pauls and Marshall amps I believe.

Too sound like him, practice your bending, and minor pentatonic scales. Lots of tabs can be found at www.mysongbook.com, but first you need to download Guitar Pro 4. It's free and you can download it from mysongbook.com.
Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.

Learn your pentatonics and work on your bends. Pick out one of his solos that you like, then get a backing track and don't stop till you got it.
Blues is easy to play, but hard to feel.

there you have all video's on slash and his guitar playing
(hope that sites right)

and defenitly learn the major and minor pentatonic scales and work your way through that
cowardice lies beneath the skin,
through your you see power love peace,
i see betrayal hate a grudge flourished through time.

thanks guys, especially like snakepit.org!

i know most of what you've all said, like i have a gibson les paul, and 30th anniversary marchall twin stack amp (its a beauty- blue!) and my minor pentatonics down to a tee.

Just got a bit stuck recently as to how i can adapt more. really play and think like slash when he's playing.

I saw an interveiw of him and he said that after an improvised solo he think back to it nad cant remember what happened. Ive been trying to do **** like that. I also like jimmy page, and santana laods, and ya know, playing til i bleed, blabla and they also have the same sort of feel and sense of urgency when they play.

Thanks. Its been nice, any more slash comments will be pounced on! :D
