umm... for the bass? or for the base? well, I usually play it like this... the chords are D, Cadd9, and G
it just goes like this:

or you could just cheat and just play the chords without picking from the chords.. (\ stands for a downstroke, and ^ is an upstroke)

ok, well, if you've got power tab (and if you don't, then you should!) go to: http://powertabs.net/pta.php?page=song,1812 and click to download the .ptb file... then, when you get into it, and you see the guitar tab, find the blueish button near the top that will say "bass score" if you hover the mouse over it... click that, and you've got your bass tab
